First visuals of Mo Dao Zu Shi stage play unveiled

The Chinese novel "Mo Dao Zu Shi" (Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) will be adapted into a stage play in Japan. The performances of "Mo Dao Zu Shi - Kaigo hen" will run from March 22 to 30, 2025 at the Theater H in Tokyo and from April 4 to 6, 2025 at the Kyoto theater in Kyoto. 

The first visuals of Shunya Kaneko as Wei Wuxian and Tomoki Hirose as Lan Wangji had been unveiled Thursday. Also, it was announced that Yuto Ando will replace Yusuke Takemoto as Lan Sizhui. Yusuke Takemoto left the project due to personal issues.
